For students

Make the next study block clear and manageable.

Bring assignments, revision and breaks into a realistic day. Use named focus blocks, selected-app protection and a timer to support the study method you choose.

When everything seems due at once

Assignments, classes and exam revision compete for the same time. A long list can leave you switching between subjects without completing a useful action. Separate fixed deadlines from the next small piece of work you can do today.

Give each session an outcome you can check: answer practice questions, summarise a short section or review mistakes. Studying for a measured period is helpful structure, but time alone does not show what you understood.

Plan around the next action and a break

Start with the nearest useful task, then leave room to check the result.

  1. Write the deadline or topic, then break it into actions small enough for one session.
  2. Choose one action for the first block and prepare the required material.
  3. Protect the apps that pull you away while keeping necessary reference tools available.
  4. After a break, review mistakes or unfinished work before adding another block.

Use the planner and Focus together

Create a block through NOA → Settings → My Focus Plan. Name it for the subject and action, set its time, focus duration and break, and save it.

  1. On Focus, choose a duration you can attempt and the distracting apps under Protection.
  2. Use Start now on your saved block; it uses your current Focus configuration.
  3. When the session ends, check the study outcome and edit the next block if needed.

Revision between two fixed commitments

If you have an hour before class, plan 20 minutes for five practice questions, a break and 20 minutes to check the answers. Keep spare time for packing up. If the questions take longer, shorten the review target rather than starting a second oversized block.

Keep the plan appropriate to your course

Basic planning, the timer and app protection are Free. Pro adds recurring blocks and Smart Rebalance for scheduling changes. You do not need a country-specific exam pack or a subscription to begin.

Aheno does not teach the syllabus, assess understanding or guarantee grades. Choose revision techniques that fit the subject and follow your school’s requirements. There is no separate Study tab or automatic per-subject protection profile.

Choose one block you can finish today

Use the exam guide when you need a larger revision routine, or the focus-and-break guide when starting is the main difficulty.

Can I use Aheno for any subject?

Yes. Name blocks after the work you need to do and choose the material yourself. Aheno organises time and app protection; it is not limited to a particular syllabus or country-specific exam.

Should every study block last 25 minutes?

No. That is one example. Choose a duration that fits the activity, your available time and a sensible break. Aheno offers focus durations from 5 to 180 minutes.

Will a completed session show that I learned the topic?

No. Check your own outcome, such as corrected answers or a summary you can explain. The timer records the focus session rather than assessing your knowledge.
