One attention system

Find the right tool for your attention.

Choose app blocking, a focus timer, planning or Screen Time insights according to the moment you want to improve. This overview explains how the tools work together and which features require Pro.

App protection

Give distracting apps a clear boundary.

Protect selected apps during a focus session, on a schedule or after a daily usage limit. Learn which boundary suits your routine and how to set it without blocking the tools your task needs.

Focus sessions

Make the next task small enough to begin.

Aheno’s focus timer for iPhone gives one task a chosen duration, an optional intention and selected-app protection. The basic timer is Free and keeps its fixed end time when you leave the app; background sound requires Pro.

Plan into practice

Give the work a place before the day fills up.

Create named focus blocks in day and week views, leave room for breaks and start a saved block when it is time. Pro adds recurring blocks, Smart Rebalance, calendar export and plan history.

Private insights

See the pattern behind the total.

Review today’s Screen Time summary and your focus history without treating a number as a verdict. Detailed reports and longer attention history are Pro features; raw Screen Time reports stay on the device.

Study modes

Turn a subject into the next study action.

Name a study block, choose a focus-and-break rhythm and protect the apps that interrupt revision. Aheno’s study workflow combines its planner, timer and blocking rather than a separate exam programme.

Social motivation

Build your own rhythm while shared focus develops.

Aheno’s shared spaces and focus partners are not generally available yet. Understand the current availability, the individual tools you can use now and the privacy boundaries for any future participation.

Progress with NOA

Let small sessions become visible progress.

NOA’s wardrobe reflects achievements and accumulated focus over time. Earned pieces stay yours on Free and Pro; seasonal collections can be previewed freely and require active Pro to wear.

Start with the point where your day goes off course

A distracting phone habit can have different causes: an unclear task, an app opened without a purpose, an overfilled plan or a difficult transition out of work. A timer alone will not solve all of them. Decide which moment you want help with before turning on more settings.

Use the feature cards to explore each workflow. They describe what you can do now, how to set it up and where iOS permissions or Free/Pro access affect the result.

Match the tool to a small, practical change

Choose one starting point and keep it long enough to understand whether it helps.

  1. For interruptions during work, select a few distracting apps and protect one focus session.
  2. For time lost across the day, create a daily-limit rule for the apps you want to use less.
  3. For work that never gets a place, add a named focus block with a start time and a break.
  4. For repeated unplanned checks, review today’s summary and test a small environmental change.

Turn a plan into a protected session

The planner gives your intention a time. The Focus screen supplies the duration, mode, app protection and optional sound mix. Starting a saved block uses its duration with your current Focus configuration; a block does not carry its own protection profile.

After the session, review what was completed. NOA’s accumulated focus progress provides a visual reminder of the practice you are building. You can use these basics without a subscription.

A realistic first afternoon

Suppose you need to prepare a presentation. Name a block “Draft three slides,” set aside 25 minutes, choose social apps under Focus protection and start. After a short break, review the draft before adding another block. If the task slips, edit the plan instead of filling every spare minute.

Understand the boundaries before choosing Pro

Free includes basic blocking, fixed schedules, daily limits, the timer, daily and weekly planning, today’s Screen Time summary and cloud sync. Pro adds sealed and stricter rules, allow-only protection, recurring blocks, Smart Rebalance, calendar export, detailed reports and background audio.

Screen Time permission is required for protection and reports. Health and Calendar access are separate choices. Calendar export does not import or synchronise your whole calendar. Shared community spaces are not generally available, and a Pro purchase does not open them.

Choose the feature that solves today’s problem

Begin with one tool, then add another only when you can name the problem it will solve. Your goal is a useful routine rather than a complicated setup.

Which feature should I start with?

For a specific task, try Focus with one distracting app group. If interruptions happen at the same time each day, a protection schedule may fit better. If you mainly need a place for your work, begin with a named planner block.

Can the planner automatically pick apps for each subject?

No. A saved block carries its name, time, duration, break and any supported recurrence. Before starting it, choose the apps and mode you want in Focus; the current configuration is used.

Do all features require extra permissions?

No. The timer and basic planning can be used without Health or Calendar access. App protection and Screen Time reports need Screen Time authorisation. Calendar export and optional Health features have their own permission choices.
